Please contact us through our contact page to get started with the process of obtaining your German Shepherd puppy. Our pure bred German Shepherd pups come with an American Kennel Club registration and possess pedigrees. All of our puppies will are, de-wormed, first round of shots, and microchipped, prior to going to their new homes. Our puppies are sold with a LIMITED American Kennel Club registration. An AKC limited registration simply means that if you breed your dog you will not be allowed to register the puppies. You will however, be able to enter your dog into any AKC sanctioned performance event or show competition. We MAY offer an option to obtain a full American Kennels Club registration. We will not sale a puppy or dog sight unseen nor do we ship puppies. You or a representative of your choosing will have to visit and inspect the puppies and the kennels.
Puppy Purchase Process
1 - The first step in purchasing a puppy from us is simply contacting us, once you see that we have puppies available.
2- We will then provide you with a puppy purchase questionnaire to see if you are able to provide a suitable home for one of our puppies and determine your experience level with the German Shepherd breed if there is any. Some of our breeding's are with high drive working line dogs that may require more experience than a first time GSD owner has.
3 - Then we will schedule a visit for you to see the pups, meet the parents, if applicable the grand parents, and inspect our kennels.
4 -Then if everything lines up and you decide you want a pup and we see that you can provide a suitable home you can leave a non-refundable deposit which is $500 that is a part of the full price at $1,500. We start accepting deposits usually once the pups reach at least one week old. This deposit will lock you into a puppy and the sex of said puppy.
5 -You will receive information via email about the food supplements we use here over the next few weeks.
6 -You will view updates as to the pups progress and view it on this website and our Facebook page.
7 - At six weeks of age you will be allowed to come and pick out the exact puppy you want in the order that we received your deposit. These appointments are usually held in one day and are scheduled thirty to forty five minutes apart. Typically on a Saturday.
8 - The pups will also have their veterinary visit when the are six to seven weeks old as well. Puppy owners will receive an update via email as to the vet's findings.
9 -Then once the pups reach eight weeks of age you will be allowed to come and take your puppy home once you pay the balance of the price.
Kane and Rhea Pups are here! Born June 27th, 2024
There are two girls still available at this time!
Kane |
Rhea |
Kane and Rhea puppies were born June 27th, 2024. Kane is a new stud dog here at Northeast Cape Fear German Shepherd Dogs. He was brought in because all but one of our other boys are getting old. Kane is a BIG boy at 95 pounds. He is a sweet natured boy that just wants to be loved on or eat whatever it is you are eating! He is a low key low drive dog. Rhea is a medium sized female at around 65 to 70 pounds. She has a low to medium play/prey drive. Rhea has sweet temperament towards people and has never met a stranger. She loves to play with the other dogs when we are out on our daily romp and chomps! We are expecting pups that are calm and friendly. There are four boys and four girls. The puppies are now four weeks old. All eight appear healthy and strong so far. They are absolutely mobile now and they do not give momma Rhea a break, but I move her out periodically during the day so she can have some puppy free time. They are coming and going in and out of their nursey box now at will. Mostly out, because it is just cooler outside of that thing than inside. The pups have now graduated from baby cereal to puppy gruel, which is puppy food soaked in milk warmed up with a bit of baby cereal added in. They are like hungry, hungry, hippos at feeding time. We are accepting deposits on them to qualified applicants now. There are two girls still available in this litter. Puppy pick out day is scheduled for August 10th, 2024. The puppies' veterinarian visit is August 20th, 2024. The puppies will be allowed to go out to their fur-ever homes on or after August 22nd, 2024 once they reach eight weeks of age. Please use the contact us button below to request an application/questionnaire.
We are expecting a litter with Blitz and Wheezey August 28th, 2024
Blitz |
Wheezey |
We are expecting a litter with Blitz and Wheezey August 28th, 2024. Blitz is a second generation dog from our kennels. His mother was our dearly departed dog Jordana Denbrix and his father was our dog Ragnar. Blitz is a Czech bred working line GSD. He has a very high prey and ball drive. He is quite protective over his family but he is also an extremely well socialized dog that likes most people. He is currently working as a PTSD / Protection dog for me now. Wheezey is a third generation dog from our kennels. Her parents are our dogs Cujo and Dutches. Cujo is from our dogs Yoda and Ziva. Wheezey is a mix of working line dogs and American bred GSD's. Cujo is a retired working dog that was trained in protection work, guard duties, narcotics, articles, and people searches. She is a friendly dog to those she knows but she will let some strangers know that they might not be welcomed until a thorough sniff down search is conducted. We expect a good mix with this litter. The pups should make great family and companions dogs as well as have potential to do other things as far as being a working dog to boot.

Cujo was trained in protection, guard, and searches for narcotics, articles, and people. Dutches was our sweet American bred GSD. Both are retired and living their best lives. Caspee is a BIG powerful dog that is high protective of his family and territory. Violet is a Czech bred working line GSD. She is from our former dog Mocha, who now lives at Czeh Haven Kennels in Jacksonville. Mocha is a litter mate to our dogs Blitz and Jelly. Those two dogs were from our dogs. Ragnar and Jordana Denbrix. Violet is a very sweet dog that is the Queen of our house. She has a VERY high prey and ball drive. She has loads of energy to burn. She can put on quit e show for anyone that is not invited in until a thorough sniff down search is conducted. Yes, one of her ears never really stood up when she was a puppy, but don't let her fool you when she is really dialled and she at attention she can stand that one up to. We expect the pups from this litter to be very energetic and have plenty of drive to do whatever you train them to do.
