Athena whelped four puppies on Nov. 25th, 2019. There are two males and two females. These pups are now three weeks old. Their little eyes are open and they are FAT, since there is only four of them and they do not have much competition when mom feeds them. These little guys are HUGE! They are starting to walk around in the whelping box. It will not be long before they are crawling out and chasing down mom for some milk. All four pups are black & tan in color.

I found an older male "Yoda" and brought him home and we talked it over and decided to branch out Strickland's Kennels into NE Cape Fear GSD. Strickland's Kennels was a working retriever kennels that bred, raised, trained, and hunt tested retriever. We bred Golden and Chesapeake Bay Retriever since the early 1990's. I still train a retriever every so often for myself as a hunting dog or for a special client. We've been breeding and raising dogs since 1993. Categories |
