These four pups are the newest recruits to the North East Cape Fear German Shepherd Dogs crew. There are two males and two females. Their names are Damon, Blitz, Mocha, and J.B. (Short for Jelly Bean). They are from working line shepherds and we hope to use their blood line to add more stability and drive to the puppies we turn out. Watch our website and social media pages for updates on these guys. One male is going to Georgia to hopefully become a true working dog. The other three are staying here with us and hopefully used as breeding stock. But boy right now ain't they just the cutest!
All of the following pups are from our last litter with Dutches and Jauger. They are all adjusting well to their new homes according to their owners. We think they may already be a little spoiled!

This is Bandit. He is from one of our Grace & Jauger litters from back in Feb. 2017. He lives with Conner Coupland in Wilmington. When Conner sent me these photos I was SUPER excited! Because my dog background before GSD's was in working waterfowl retrievers. Bandit's mom Grace has as high a prey and retrieve drive that any of the sup'ed up field trial retrievers I've worked has ever had! I always wondered if a GSD could get the same job done. Well, now I know! Thank you Connoer for the Update and making your GSD a waterfowl retriever. Just goes to show you these dogs can do nearly anything!
These pups are now three weeks old. Their little eyes are fully open. They are becoming very aware of their surroundings. These pups have also started learning to eat baby cereal and milk from a bowl. A couple of them have even figured out how to crawl out of the whelping box. The pup's and mom Jynx all appear to be doing well.

My name is Ryan Strickland and my wife Anita and I fell in love with the white dog, "Ziva" on the our dogs page. I found an older male "Yoda" and brought him home and we talked it over and decided to branch out Strickland's Kennels into NE Cape Fear GSD. Strickland's Kennels was a working retriever kennels that bred, raised, trained, and hunt tested retriever. We bred Golden and Chesapeake Bay Retriever since the early 1990's. I still train a retriever every so often for myself as a hunting dog or for a special client. We've been breeding and raising dogs since 1993.
