Nordostkep Angst "Wheezey"
This pretty girl is Wheezey. She is from our very last litter we did between Cujo and Dutches back in January 2020. We thought we had her in a good forever home but the owners contacted us and could no longer care for her. So we took her back in and decided to keep her. She is only 8 months old now and has some growing up to do but hopefully she will make it into our breeding program int he near future. Wheezey is full of energy and loves to play! she is also VERY intelligent and gets grasp on things pretty quickly.
Well , folks Aroara seems to have found herself a great forever home with the Reece family in Castle Hayne, NC. She has two great girls that will keep her busy! Aroara and these girls are all happy!
Little-man Echo as you can tell by looking at him is NOT a full blooded German Shepherd. Echo is actually a mix breed working dog. He is half Dutch Shepherd and half Belgium Malinois . Echo was brought into our breeding pool to add a little more work ethic and athleticism to our dogs. Echo is by not a mean dog at all. He is actually a bit shy but his prey drive is through the roof! Once he latches onto something there is no turning it loose!
Y'all this HANDSOME fella is Luther! He was placed with Marshall and Kayla Wick a few months ago. He came from Archie & Candance Hall's dogs Caspie & Athena. Caspie is a pup from right here at Northeast Cape Fear German Shepherd Dogs!
Dutches & Cujo puppies, Thelma, Louise (We call her Wezzy!), and Molly are having themselves a BIG ole time outside in the yard playing. We love playing with them but we need to find them some forever homes as they get bigger we will soon be running out of space!
This is mom Dutches with her three remaining pups Thelma, Lousie, and Molly. These three girls are ready for their new forever homes now. They are full of energy, love to play, and are hard to get back into their kennel once they get out. They've figured out that outside is "MUCH MORE GOODER!"
Our retired girl Grace has had a birthday! Her new retirement home family the Jackson's got her a cake! Y'all we think she might be a touched spoiled!! Thank you Robin Jackson for giving her a great new home!
Dutches and Cujo puppies were born January 16th, 2020. These pup are now ready to go out to their forever homes now. They have been vet check an had their first round of shots. Dutches whelped four puppies on January 16th, 2020. All four of these pups are black and tan in color. There are three girls and one boy. All four pups and mom are doing well. This is a repeat breeding for Dutches and Cujo. All of their other pups have turned out to be intelligent, healthy, and energetic dogs. Dutches is a sweet energetic Shepherd that loves to play. She loves to play with puppies, kids, Yoda and most of the other dogs. But she is certainly the QUEEN of the kennels. Dutches is around 65 to 70lbs. Cujo is extremely smart and full of energy. He loves to play throw the tennis ball, Chase the red dot light, and he is trained in protection and bite work. Cujo is around 80lbs.
This handsome guy is Zuko. He lives with the Hogge's in Jacksonville NC. Zuko is from one of our litters between our dog Dutches and Yoda from back in 2015. He certainly appears to have a hard life!! (sarcasm) HAHAHA!!
My name is Ryan Strickland and my wife Anita and I fell in love with the white dog, "Ziva" on the our dogs page. I found an older male "Yoda" and brought him home and we talked it over and decided to branch out Strickland's Kennels into NE Cape Fear GSD. Strickland's Kennels was a working retriever kennels that bred, raised, trained, and hunt tested retriever. We bred Golden and Chesapeake Bay Retriever since the early 1990's. I still train a retriever every so often for myself as a hunting dog or for a special client. We've been breeding and raising dogs since 1993.
